- PTS (Post-Traumatic Stress) Connection Support Group – A FREE RECOVERY SUPPORT GROUP FOR VETERANS, POLICE AND FIRST RESPONDERS RECOVERING FROM POST-‐TRAUMATIC STRESS AS A RESULT OF THEIR SERVICE. Sussex County Veterans Service Resource Portal – provides resources related to health, housing, ID Cards, mental health/substance abuse services, and transportation. It also has valuable links to a number of services provided by non-profit organizations, State, and Federal Veteran resources.
Code 9 – provides education, support and viable self-help tools to all Public Safety Personnel and their families for the purpose of managing and reducing the compressive stress effects, such as PTSD and suicide.
Project Help – provides supportive services to veterans and their families during difficult times.
NJ Vet2Vet is a 24 hour/7-day a week helpline coordinated by Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care. The helpline features peer counseling for Veterans, members of the Air/Army National Guard, and family members. Another component is providing this population access to a support network of mental health professionals.
